Louisville-based company to invest more than $35 million in facility expansion

Brown-Forman Corp., Louisville, Ky., announced its intention to expand the Woodford Reserve Distillery to meet the anticipated growing global demand for its super-premium Woodford Reserve Kentucky bourbon. The more than $35 million investment includes the addition of three new warehouses capable of housing more than 165,000 barrels of bourbon.
Prestige Imports LLC partnered with Wildlife Forever, the nonprofit conservation arm of the North American Hunting & Fishing Clubs, in the design, production and marketing of Rod & Rifle Bourbon and American Blended Whiskey.

Woodford Reserve, the “Official Bourbon of the Kentucky Derby,” is honoring the annual horse race with the release of its 2013 commemorative bottle. A product of the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Ky., this year’s limited-edition Kentucky Derby 139 bottle features the artwork of Oregon-based painter Eric Bowman.
