RTD coffee posts strongest single-year gains among beverage segments

The U.S. liquid refreshment beverage market grew again in 2017, with retail sales increasing about 3 percent and volume by around 2 percent, according to newly released preliminary data from Beverage Marketing Corporation (BMC), New York.
Cocktail culture, consumer experimentation and mixologist innovations are the core cocktail mixer growth-drivers, and younger legal-drinking-age consumers are at the center of these trends.
