Wild Turkey, a brand of San Francisco-based Campari America, is bringing back its Wild Turkey 101 Rye. After an absence from the market for approximately a year because of the unexpected high demand, the Kentucky straight rye whiskey is returning to bars in select markets this month.
With most of the leaves now on the ground instead of on the trees, it might seem a little out of place to be talking about summer, but Newton, Mass.-based Restaurant Sciences LLC is keeping the summer season on our brains.
Vodka brand creates themed cocktails for San Francisco event

Skyy Vodka, a brand of San Francisco-based Campari America, announced its official partnership with the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco, which will take place Oct. 19-20. The vodka brand will serve as the official vodka during the seventh annual progressive music event, which will host dance music and indie-rock groups including Atoms for Peace, Beck, Major Lazer and Animal Collective.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc., Greenwood Village, Colo., released two new beer cocktails for the summer that will be available exclusively at Red Robin dining locations. Served in a limited-edition, reusable beer can, these beer and liquor combinations are served in two styles: the Coors Light Can-Crafted Cocktail, which is a mixture of Coors Light beer, ginger liqueur and lemonade topped with fresh squeezed lemon, and the Blue Moon Can-Crafted Cocktail, which is a combination of Blue Moon Belgian White beer, Svedka Clementine vodka, orange juice and lime juice.
Although the vodka sub-category remains the No. 1 segment in terms of volume sales, whiskey has become so popular that it is beginning to take over as the No. 1 spirit on a dollar sales basis, according to Bump Williams Consulting’s monthly wine and spirits report, which cites Chicago-based SymphonyIRI data.
