The brewers at Samuel Adams, a brand of Boston-based The Boston Beer Co., plan to spice up the winter season with a new, brighter and smoother Cold Snap recipe, it says. The new Cold Snap showcases the brew’s signature blend of 10 exotic spices, fruits and florals: orange zest, vanilla, lemon zest, coriander, rose hips, hibiscus, plum, grains of paradise, anise and tamarind, the company adds.

Wynwood Brewing, a brand of the Craft Brew Alliance, released La Rubia Blonde Ale “con sabor.” Created by a Puerto Rican father-and-son duo (Luis and Pops Brignoni) and first launched in Florida, La Rubia is making its way into New York and Connecticut with the new growth.
Although, in some cases, the numbers seem to show that the channel is wilting, a deeper look reveals that it is simply evolving into something better suited for the needs of today’s shoppers.
Craft Brew Alliance will join company’s Brewers Collective

Craft Brew Alliance (CBA). Portland, Ore., and Anheuser-Busch (A-B), a subsidiary of Leuven, Belgium-based Anheuser-Busch InBev, jointly announced an agreement to expand their partnership, with A-B agreeing to purchase the remaining CBA shares it does not already own in a merger transaction for $16.50 a share, in cash.
