The U.S. market is one of largest consumer of wine in the world and retailers and suppliers can get a private label perspective of the category when PLMA and industry veteran and expert, Alison Crowe present “Wine & Spirits: Uncorking Success in This Emerging Category” on Sept. 26 online.
“Wine & Spirits is the newest frontier for the private label industry,” said Anthony Aloia, PLMA corporate vice president, in a statement. “It’s important to educate the industry about this fast-growing category where we’re already seeing retailers in all channels elevating their private label wine & spirits business with new product offerings, exclusive partnerships, and other initiatives.”
Crowe, vice president of winemaking and partner at Plata Wine Partners, will bring her more than 15 years of experience to the webinar, discussing the key steps to building a wine and spirits private label program, including how to assess the consumer and retail landscape, why this category requires its own unique marketing strategy and takeaways on how to navigate the private label on ramp to success.
In response to growing interest in the category, PLMA once again will present a special Wine & Spirits Pavilion during its upcoming The Store Brands Phenomenon 2024 Private Label Trade Show, Nov. 17-19 where exhibitors from around the world can prominently showcase their wines, spirits, RTD cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.
