Taking a new and exciting direction, Kim Crawford Wine, a brand of Constellation Brands, is launching non-vintage Prosecco from the Veneto in the North-East region of Italy. The extra dry sparkling wine is a blend of Glera, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, consisting of 85% Glera. On the nose, the fruity and floral aromas create a blend with an almond effervescent finish, the company says. To taste, the sparkling wine lingers on the palate with crisp notes of pear, citrus and tropical fruit, it adds. Packaged in 750-ml bottles, Kim Crawford Prosecco has a suggested retail price (SRP) of $14.99. Additionally, Kim Crawford released Iced-Tea Wine Spritz, a wine and tea blend made from real tea and New Zealand’s Sauvignon Blanc. Available in a case of four, the canned Iced Tea Wine Spritz comes in two flavors: Lemon and Peach. A four-pack of 12-ounce slim cans has a SRP of $14.99. Kim Crawford Prosecco and Iced Tea Wine Spritz cans initially launched in select markets in limited quantities this March, and will become more widely available across the nation this spring and summer.
