Suntory Whisky, a brand of Beam Suntory Inc., announced the release of Suntory Whisky TOKI, its newest Japanese whisky varietal to launch in the United States. The new varietal mixes the singular Hakushu American white oak cask malt whisky with Chita, a heavy grain whisky, Yamazaki American white oak cask malt whisky and Yamazaki Spanish oak cask malt whisky, the company says. The 43 percent alcohol-by-volume whisky features grapefruit, green grapes, peppermint and thyme on the palate with a subtly sweet and spicy finish, it adds. Suntory Whisky TOKI is available nationwide in 750-ml bottles with a suggested retail price of $39.99.
