Nutegrity releases omega-3 combination ingredient
OmegaActiv + PL Blend combines omega-3 fish oil, antioxidant astaxanthin and phospholipids
Nutegrity, a combined expertise of Cyvex Nutrition, Wisconsin Specialty Protein, Bioriginal Food & Science Corp. and InCon Processing, all subsidiaries of Omega Protein Corp., launched OmegaActiv + PL Blend, a combination of Nutegrity’s OmegaActiv omega-3 fish oil, antioxidant astaxanthin and phospholipids including lysophospholipids in one ingredient. Benefits of the ingredient are a high omega-3 content, being low in saturated fats, a blended product with no chemical modification, high levels of astaxanthin, high bioavailability, non-GMO and kosher status, an integrated fish oil supply, environmental friendliness and sustainable sourcing, the company says. OmegaActiv + PL Blend is available in bulk oil and soft gels.
