Chobani LLC, New Berlin, N.Y., launched its first-ever shelf-stable low-fat dairy milk: Chobani Super Milk. This latest product innovation is nutrient rich and is made specifically to be donated to support people impacted by disasters as well as help some of the most vulnerable in Chobani’s hometowns, the company says.

Organic Valley announced the expansion of its fluid milk portfolio with Organic Valley Family First.

Chobani unveiled its newest seasonal lineup, including its Dairy Coffee Creamer Peppermint Mocha, Chobani Oatmilk Oat Nog, and Greek Yogurt Spiced Holiday Nog.

Total milk ― comprised of dairy, plant and all other milks ― is in hopes of a revival as the category continues to be challenged following its spikes in volume and dollar sales in 2020.

Rockin’ Protein made by Shamrock Farms announced that it is introducing a new addition to its refrigerated dairy case lineup: the Chocolate Rockin’ Protein 4-Pack. The multipack made its debut in Harris Teeter stores and has expanded to additional retailers nationwide.

The plant-based milk industry continued to grow and thrive over the course of the last year. With consumers opting for dairy alternatives, many of these milks have become mainstream.

Chicago-based fairlife LLC, a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Co., announced that it has surpassed $1 billion in annual retail sales. Founded in 2012, fairlife has pioneered ultra-filtration in the dairy industry through its portfolio of better-for-you products that are leading the value-added dairy category. 

Chobani, New Berlin, N.Y., announced two new dairy platforms, expanding its footprint in the refrigerated aisle: Chobani Ultra-Filtered Milk, a lactose-free, protein-packed ultra-filtered milk, and Chobani Half & Half. These new items are made from locally sourced milk and like many of the company’s newest products, they come in paper-based packaging that is widely recyclable across the United States.

Chicago-based GoodSport Nutrition is launching GoodSport, a natural sports drink made from milk.
