Gatorade, a brand of PepsiCo, Purchase, N.Y., announced it will enter the bottled water category with the introduction of Gatorade Water, the brands’ first unflavored water, set to hit shelves in Q1 2024. An electrolyte-infused water with a crisp taste, Gatorade Water was developed to help support all-day hydration for active people, the company says. The premium water offering is purified with a seven-step, enhanced filtration process, while also being alkaline.

Keane’s leadership brings nearly 20 years of beverage industry experience

American Beverage (AB), Washington, D.C., announced that Kevin W. Keane, a longtime member of the beverage industry’s leadership team, has been named its new president and chief executive officer. Keane will provide day-to-day leadership and management of the industry trade group to advance its strategic priorities, working in close partnership with AB’s full team and the AB Board leadership.
