Best known for its Koma Unwind relaxation drinks and shots, Bebida Beverage Co. (BeBevCo) is taking its expertise into a whole new category: ice cream.
Grassini Family Vineyards partnered with Duffy & Partners to give its wine lines a new look. The wine label wanted to create unique, eye-catching packaging to stand out in a sea of wine options while also paying tribute to the brand’s ancestry and positioning the label for growth, the company says.
Brown-Forman Corp., Louisville, Ky., reported financial results for the second quarter and first half of its fiscal-year 2014, which ended Oct. 31. In the second quarter, the company’s reported net sales grew by 6 percent to nearly $1.1 billion and reported operating income grew 19 percent to $311 million compared with the prior-year period. For the first six months of the year, reported net sales increased 4 percent and reported operating income increased 9 percent.

Denver-based PL360 Beverage Partners imported a new line of wines inspired by the PBS series “Downton Abbey” into the United States. Launching Nov. 1, New York-based Wines That Rock's Downton Abbey Wine Collection features two blends from the Bordeaux region of France: a Blanc white wine and a Claret red wine.
Terravant Wine Co. released its new Spin the Bottle wines with interactive labels. The label employs patented lenticular technology to make it appear as though the miniature bottle on the label is spinning as the potential consumer walks past it on the shelf, the company says.
The Absolut vodka brand introduced its sixth limited-edition, city-inspired spirit. The brand also released Absolut Gräpevine, a vodka that combines white grape, dragon fruit and papaya flavors.
