Stone Brewing, Escondido, Calif., announced its first quarter results for fiscal 2017, reporting 18 percent growth versus the prior year. The company’s performance is outpacing both the year-to-date grocery craft category growth rate of 4.4 percent and the category’s 52-week growth rate of 6.4 percent, based on Chicago-based Information Resources Inc. (IRI) data, it says.
Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. (DPS), Plano, Texas, reported third quarter net sales of $1.68 billion, a 3 percent increase on favorable product and package mix, a 1 percent increase in sales volumes and higher pricing. Net sales growth was reduced in the quarter by 1 percentage-point of unfavorable foreign currency translation.
Castle Brands Inc., New York, reported financial results for the first quarter of its 2017 fiscal calendar, which ended June 30, 2016. Among the highlights were that net sales increased 1.4 percent to $16.8 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2017.
