Pepsi, a brand of Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo Inc., has confirmed that Pepsi Perfect, the fictional beverage that Marty McFly orders in “Back to the Future Part II,” will be available for a limited time starting Oct. 21 paying homage to the date that McFly travels to in the future.
Brand to release a series of limited-edition, wood-finished Scotch blends

Johnnie Walker, a brand of Norwalk, Conn.-based Diageo North America, will introduce its newest Scotch whisky: Johnnie Walker Select Casks – Rye Cask Finish, a 10-year-old, 46 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), chill-filtered blended Scotch whisky. The new varietal is the first in a series of limited-edition, wood-finished Scotch blends to be released during the coming years, the company says. Each limited-edition whisky will feature a different wood finish crafted for today's whisky enthusiast, it adds.

Samuel Adams, a brand of Boston-based The Boston Beer Co., released Time Hop Porter, a limited-edition hopped porter brewed with San Diego-based ChuckAlek Independent Brewers. The collaboration beer is the culmination of a year-long program, Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream Brewing and Business Experienceship, which annually provides one craft brewer with hands-on brewing and business coaching, the company says. Sam Adams established the program to help small-craft breweries get a leg-up in the industry, it adds.
Dry Fly Distilling, an American-made, small-batch distiller of vodka, gin and whiskies, is launching O’Danagher’s Single Barrel Whiskey, a ‘Hibernian’ Irish style whiskey in collaboration with local whiskey maker Tim Danaher.
Double Cola Co.'s SKI brand to launch limited-edition packaging

The Double Cola Co. released a limited-edition 12-pack for its citrus soda, SKI brand. Its retro design was voted No. 1 last year by SKI fans through a label design contest that took place on Facebook.
Following consumer requests, PepsiCo brought back its Mtn Dew Baja Blast variety in bottles and cans and added another new flavor to its Mtn Dew team: Mtn Dew Sangrita Blast.
Honest Tea, an independent operating unit of The Coca-Cola Co., is expanding its Summer Refresher lineup with the release of its newest limited-edition flavor: Watermelon Lemonade.
