Fairport Brewing Co., a Rochester, N.Y.-based farm brewery, launched its first proprietary formula, New England-style BuchaBeer (pronounced “boocha beer”), called Crown Jewel. The malt beverage combines a light and refreshing Belgian wheat-based brew containing hints of citrus and peach with a proprietary, probiotic-powered kombucha fermented tea blend, the company says.

Wonder Drink Kombucha launched its new Prebiotic Kombucha line in three flavors: Apple Mint, Ginger Peach and Tropical Mango.

Brew Dr. Kombucha, Portland, Ore., is releasing its delicious, refreshing kombucha in aluminum cans nationwide, becoming the first kombucha brand to offer its products in cans, the company says. 

Baltimore-based kombucha brewer Mobtown Fermentation announced a new partnership with Coastal Sunbelt Produce, Laurel, Md., that will double the number of states where they can distribute their Wild Kombucha line, the company says.

GT’s Kombucha, a brand of GT’s Living Foods, added three new flavors to its lineup: Pink Lady Basil, Watermelon Wonder and Koffee.
