The board of directors of Hamilton, Bermuda-based Bacardi Ltd. announced the departure of President and Chief Executive Officer Ed Shirley. Shirley expressed his plans to retire after his 36-year career, the company says.

Honoring its 150-year legacy, Hamilton, Bermuda-based Bacardi Limited announced the launch of its new “Bacardi Untameable Since 1862” global marketing campaign, which tells the stories behind Bacardi rum and its origins in Cuba and inspires consumers to embrace life and live boldly to showcase their own “Irrepressible Spirit.”
Bacardi U.S.A. Inc. launched Bacardi Pineapple Fusion rum, which fuses the sweet notes of pineapple with the toasted flavors of coconut rum, the company says.

Robert Cooper, the creator of St-Germain and president of The Cooper Spirits Co., will continue to support the liqueur label, working hand-in-hand with Bacardi and bartenders around the world to continue to build the brand, the company says.
