Skagerrak Nordic Dry Gin introduced a redesigned lighter bottle. The new bottle is more streamlined and uniquely crafted for Skagerrak, with an average reduction of 28% in glass of existing sizes.
“We are excited to introduce more environmentally conscious packaging for our premium gin, crafted in Norway with Nordic ingredients. This redesigned, more material-efficient bottle is an important step toward reducing our environmental impact and supporting responsible production,” said Suvi Reinikkala, brand marketing director at Anora, in a statement.
The new bottle is made from 60% recycled glass — more than double the amount used in the previous bottle. Additionally, the deep ocean-blue bottle is compatible with all recycling systems internationally.
“The possibility to recycle all Skagerrak bottles is an important factor in creating a sustainable lifecycle,” Reinikkala said.
The remodeled Skagerrak Gin is widely available across all Nordic countries, as well as in Germany, travel retail, and many more other markets. In addition to the current 50 cl and 70 cl sizes, the gin will, for the first time, be offered in a 100 cl bottle and is now available at selected tax-free locations in airports and on ferries.
