Nestlé’s Coffee mate is pushing flavor boundaries once again, giving coffee-obsessed fans the sweet chance to enjoy the classic break time snack— bagels and cream cheese — ahead of National Coffee Day (Sept. 29).

With notes reflecting cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and a slightly savory hint of bagel in every sip, the Coffee mate Bagel and Cream Cheese inspired Creamer is here to make every break — and the moments in between — a banger, the company says.

Consumers will have three chances to upgrade their break time with the limited-edition 16-ounce Coffee mate Bagel & Cream Cheese inspired Creamer, available for free exclusively online at the Coffee mate Shop leading up to and after National Coffee Day, it notes. Limited quantities will be available for free on a first-come, first-serve basis Sept. 13 at noon ET exclusively online with additional drops Sept. 19 and Sept. 30, the company says.

But that’s not all. Knowing coffee is the fuel that keeps teachers going, the brand also is giving the teachers at George Washington Preparatory Senior High in Inglewood, Calif., a complete overhaul of the teacher’s breakroom: Coffee mate style — complete with Coffee mate creamer and Iced Coffee on tap, a Coffee mate Iced Coffee water fountain, NESCAFÉ coffee machines, a year’s supply of Coffee mate creamers, and a hidden sipping room.

“Teachers work tirelessly to build our future. They deserve our recognition, appreciation, and good fun and coffee to fuel them,” said Leonardo Aizpuru, vice president of brand marketing for the beverage division and business unit at Nestlé, in a statement. “And because everything we do is for the love of coffee, this National Coffee Day, we’re letting our creativity run wild and giving a select school the most over-the-top breakroom makeover.

“We filmed the whole reno to bring everyone along for the ride through our first ever mini-series, Unbreak my Breakroom,” Aizpuru continues. “And to fill coffee cups for their viewing, we’re offering all coffee lovers a chance to receive the newest Coffee mate Bagel and Cream Cheese inspired creamer— the perfect pairing for any break(room).”

To “unbreak” the George Washington Preparatory Senior High break room, Coffee mate is partnering with California-based rapper and recurring guest actor on ABC’s Abbott Elementary, Vince Staples. With local ties to the community, Vince is the perfect person to help the company celebrate these unsung heroes who deserve the best to keep them energized, the company says.

Coffee mate also is bringing fans on the journey to see the over-the-top reno in a short digital series premiering on its YouTube Channel on Sept. 30.
