The Rochester, N.Y.-based Brothers International Food Holdings LLC, recently acquired Hosh International LLC, a supplier of fruit and vegetable juice concentrates based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. By combining the two companies, Brothers can serve a “significantly larger and more diversified customer base, and a broader product portfolio supported by a best-in-class, global supplier network,” the company states.
Travis Betters, founder and CEO of Brothers, will be leading the combined business, but Brothers and Hosh will continue to operate under their respective names and operate in their current areas. Emad Hosh will continue on as a minority owner in the company, the company says.
“Emad Hosh and the Hosh employees have built a terrific company with outstanding long-tenured customer and supplier relationships,” Betters said in a statement. “We look forward to capitalizing on significant cross-selling opportunities through the joint efforts of our combined teams.”
Hosh noted that talks of the combination began two years ago. “I am very excited to partner with Brothers for many years to come, as we continue to provide exceptional customer service and deliver best-in-class products from our exceptional, global supplier base,” he said in a statement. “Additionally, this partnership enables Hosh employees to continue on as part of a larger, more diversified and growing company.”
