Boulevard Brewing Co. announced its second collaboration with fellow Midwestern company Foundry Distilling. The newest collaboration — The Sixth Glass American Malt Whiskey — is produced from the mash bill of Boulevard’s Belgian-style quadrupel ale, The Sixth Glass, the company says. The final version of The Sixth Glass whiskey is bold at 100 proof, softened by the pronounced candy flavor and aroma, which came from The Sixth Glass wort used in its creation, it adds. Boulevard Brewing Co.’s beers are available in 47 states and 11 countries. The Sixth Glass American Malt Whiskey is available to purchase throughout the Midwest region — Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma, only — starting Sept. 6. Pre-orders also are available through the Boulevard Gift Shop.
