On-premise, foodservice embrace new dynamics
Digital solutions in-store for restaurants in 2021

We have seen the challenges that on-premise and foodservice industries have experienced throughout this pandemic. As these operators adapt to the fluidity of regulations and guidelines, many are embracing these new dynamics and, ultimately, the new opportunities that await them.
According to BeverageTrak data from Nielsen CGA (as of Oct. 10), 79 percent of on-premise visitors are staying at a single venue or reducing the number of places that they visit. The market research firm notes that this provides an opportunity for on-premise outlets to enhance the dining experience for consumers through their bartenders and wait staff.
“In the times we are living in, where every cent counts, the very best suppliers and distributors should look to work in tandem with their retailer customers to ensure sophisticated pricing ladders and enticing trade-up offers are in place,” said Nielsen CGA Client Solutions Director Matthew Crompton in a statement.
