After an unseasonably hot summer that set records, I, for one, am looking forward to cooler temperatures and the beverages that go along with them. For example, Dutch Bros Coffee, a drive-thru coffee company with 400 locations, debuted its fall lineup with sweet twists on seasonal favorites, including Caramel Pumpkin Brulée breve and Citrus Cinnabear Rebel.
As the flannels come on, whiskey weather also is returning. Bourbon specifically has held steady throughout the pandemic and alcohol eCommerce platform Drizly anticipates a steady and predictable return to all things whiskey this fall.
Yet, for those looking for a low-calorie, low-carb beverage, hard seltzers, which became the “unofficial official drink of summer” a little over a year ago, will continue to be a tried-and-true option throughout fall and winter, says Drizly’s Head of Consumer Insights Liz Paquette.
“Hard seltzer has continued its explosive growth throughout 2020 and we expect it to be sticking around for this Q3, particularly as more flavors and brands continue breaking into the space,” she says.
VIVE Hard Seltzer, a brand of Braxton Brewing Co., plans to win the “Season of Pumpkin” with its new release: Pumpkin Spice Hard Seltzer, which is available at Kroger stores throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.
