Los Angeles-based Nomadica released a limited-edition sparkling white wine can for Pride month with cover art by @takiisbranding, an LGBTQ+ Brazillian artist and DJ. The sommelier-curated canned wine is a special edition of its 2018 North Coast Sparkling White wine from Mendocino County, which is 50 percent malvasia and 50 percent chardonnay. The wine has notes of honeysuckle, green apple and Meyer lemon, the company says. Starting at a suggested retail price of $30 for a four-pack, the cans are available for purchase in select markets and at nomadica.com. The company notes that 100 percent of the profits from sales of the wine will be donated to Black Lives Matter and the Transgender Law Center.
