The snowy season is officially underway and the readers of Beverage Industry have shown their continued appreciation for functional beverages. In the Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month poll for October, the readers selected Boom Boom Energy Drink as their favorite new product.

Tempire Group, manufactured under a license from Argo Food & Beverage International, introduced Boom Boom Energy Drink. Boom Boom is designed to provide a boost of energy within a few minutes of ingestion for athletes, college students, businessmen and other professionals, the company says. The functional beverage is available nationwide in 250- and 355-ml cans. 

In correspondence with the colder weather, Tippy Cow Peppermint Bark Rum Cream took the No. 2 spot. The 14 percent alcohol-by-volume ready-to-drink beverage blends the flavors of white chocolate and crushed candy cane with Caribbean rum and fresh dairy cream, the company says.
