Woodford Reserve, a brand of Brown-Forman Corp., released a new limited-edition expression as part of its annual Woodford Reserve Distillery Series: Barrel Finished Rye. The whiskey is a Woodford Reserve Rye that has been finished in a custom second barrel made of new American oak that has been lightly charred and heavily toasted, the company says. The whiskey can be purchased at the Woodford Reserve Distillery as well as select retailers in Kentucky. At 45 percent alcohol-by-volume, the 375-ml bottle is available for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
