With summer in full force, consumers continue to thirst for the refreshing taste of iced tea including flavored tea with innovative flavors. In the Reader’s Choice: New Product of the Month poll for June, the readers selected Teakoe’s Barrel-Brewed Iced Tea as their favorite new product release.

With 83 percent of the vote, Teakoe and its four flavors: Block Party Pomegranate, Peg Leg Pineapple, Peacemaker Pear and Fairway Half & Half are available in select markets. The ready-to-drink tea is brewed with organic and sustainably sourced teas from around the world, the company says. Each tea is non-GMO as well as gluten-free, it adds. Teakoe is available in 12-ounce cans for a suggested retail price of $2.79 per can.

In second place this month with 8 percent of the vote was Petal Sparkling Botanical Blends. GT’s Kombucha took the third spot.
