Dunkin’ Donuts, Canton, Mass., announced its newest beverage flavors for the summer season: Butter Pecan, Cookie Dough and Pistachio flavored coffees, and Original and Strawberry Frozen Lemonade. Last year, Dunkin’ Donuts asked America to vote on their favorite flavor among the brand’s most popular ice cream flavored coffees, with the chance to bring it back to the menu for summer 2018, the company said.
The fans voted and the three flavors (Butter Pecan, Cookie Dough and Pistachio) are available in participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants throughout the season.
To show appreciation for those who took the time to vote via social media last summer, Dunkin’ Donuts has selected a dozen fans whose post or comment caught the attention of the brand, the company says. Each will receive a summer’s worth of Dunkin’ coffee, and one day this summer, a Dunkin’ Donuts in their town will offer free medium ice cream flavored iced coffees for the first 500 guests, it adds.
The full list of fans and the date and location of the free coffee events will be posted on the Dunkin’ Donuts blog in early June, the company says.
Along with the re-release of ice cream flavored coffees, Dunkin’ Donuts is debuting a new frozen lemonade. Available in Original and Strawberry, both flavors are made with real fruit juice, the company says. The frozen drink is being served at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants for a limited time, it adds.
