Absolut, a brand of Paris-based Pernod Ricard, has unveiled its new summer, limited-edition bottle: Absolut America. Along with the release, Absolut has teamed up with Keep America Beautiful (KAB), a nonprofit organization dedicated to community improvement.
The Absolut America bottle is painted red, white, and blue to allow consumers and patriots alike to show their Stars and Stripes pride, the company says.
“Absolut has always embraced the magic of mixing – from cocktails to cultures to communities,” said Shefali Murdia, brand director at Absolut for Pernod Ricard, USA, in a statement. “With our new America bottle, and partnership with Keep America Beautiful, we’re mixing up the summer party scene with delicious cocktails and a side of giving-back.
From May 1 to Sept. 3, Absolut will donate $1 to Keep America Beautiful for every photo shared showing how people party with a purpose using the hashtag #AbsolutAmerica and hashtag #promotion, the company says. In support of the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program, Absolut’s donation will support the program’s estimated 60,000 events fueled my millions of volunteers and participants who come together in tens of thousands of communities nationwide to do hashtag #DoBeautifulThings, it adds.
“This year, Keep America Beautiful is celebrating 65 years of helping organize, evangelize, and activate local communities around keeping our neighborhoods clean, green, and beautiful, “said Helen Lowman, president and chief executive officer of Keep America Beautiful, in a statement. “As one of the first organizations to embrace the power of public/private partnerships, joining forces with eco-friendly, responsible brands like Absolut is crucial to the success and impact of our organization as we work to end littering, improve recycling, and beautiful America’s communities.”
Absolut America is formulated with the same ingredients and flavor as Absolut Original Vodka. The vodka is available for purchase in three sizes: 750-ml, 1-liter, and 1.75-ml, for a suggested retail price ranging from $19.99 to $29.99.
