Crown Royal, a brand of Diageo North America, introduced Crown Royal Vanilla Flavored Whisky, a blend of hand-selected Crown Royal whiskies infused with the flavor of Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla. On the nose, the flavored spirit begins with notes of rich vanilla bean and hints of oak, the company says. On the tongue, the 35 percent alcohol-by-volume whisky opens with a creamy vanilla flavor, which is followed by a smooth, light whisky finish. The mouthfeel is viscous and warm, and the aftertaste is reminiscent of crème brulee, the company says. Crown Royal Vanilla Flavored Whisky is available nationwide packaged in 50-, 200-, 375- and 750-ml, as well as 1- and 1.75-liter bottles. A 750-ml bottle has a suggested retail price of $24.99.
