Bell Flavors & Fragrances launched a new line of sweet to fiery-hot pepper flavors. Bell’s new pepper line encompasses flavor profiles from around the world including Mexico, Peru, the Middle East and Jamaica. A few of the peppers highlighted in this line of flavors include the aji panca, which has the lowest level of heat on the Scoville Scale, up to the Bhut Jolokia (ghost pepper), which is listed as the hottest pepper, the company says. Bell also noted that it will look to expand and develop new flavors to add to this line of peppers as more pepper flavors become mainstream ingredients.
