Manhattan MoonshineManhattan Moonshine Co. LLC, in collaboration with Spirits Consulting Group, will launch Manhattan Moonshine unaged whiskey in New York this fall. The spirit features a grain bill including oats, rye and spelt and comes packaged in a premium art-deco-styled decanter. Because it is unaged, it can replace vodka or gin in many cocktails, but it also can compete with traditional whiskeys because of its complexity and quality, the company says. A 750-ml bottle contains 47.5 percent alcohol by volume and retails for approximately $45.
