ProSupps USA, Allen, Texas, released its pre-workout powder Mr. Hyde in a ready-to-drink (RTD) format. The RTD Mr. Hyde beverage was in research-and-development stages for nearly a year with a custom packaging manufacturer to ensure a “first-of-its-kind” delivery system, the company says. Thus, ProSupps partnered with Karma Culture LLC, Pittsford, N.Y., to incorporate the KarmaCap on the bottles.
“The Push Cap technology allows a beverage brand to deliver both style and substance,” said CJ Rapp, chief executive of Karma Culture, in a statement.
President and Chief Executive Officer of ProSupps T.J. Humphreys added: “This could be one of the most purposeful and exciting ‘inventions’ to hit our industry in decades. … At ProSupps, we wanted to deliver a true pre-workout ready-to-drink [product], loaded with one full serving of Mr. Hyde in every bottle. The trick has always been the fact that creatine is instable in water; to overcome this challenge, I partnered with KarmaCap on an interactive cap called the Push Cap that preserves the integrity of the efficacious ingredients of Mr. Hyde and delivers a kick like no other product on the planet.”
Mr. Hyde is available in Vitamin Shoppe, GNC and other retailers across the United States. The company is working on an international version that is schedule to hit the Canadian, Australian and European markets in the fourth quarter of 2014.
