For the first time in its history, The Double Cola Co. launched a line of beverages outside of the carbonated soft drink category. Quad Energy drinks were developed to fill a consumer need for high-quality, low-cost energy drinks, the company says. The line is available in Re-Charge, Orange Twist, Low Carb Kick, Berry Fusion and Lime Craze varieties, which were selected to appeal to men between the ages of 18 and 34. A 16-ounce can has a suggested retail price of $0.99.
