Martin Bauer Group, Vestenbergsgreuth, Germany, acquired Beverage House, Cartersville, Ga. The acquisition merges Martin Bauer Group’s expertise in teas, extracts and botanicals with Beverage House’s expertise in the formulation, processing and packaging of premium beverage concentrates, according to the companies.

The company also announced new executives: Elizabeth Doyle was named president and chief executive officer; Steve Wiley was named chief operations officer; and Susan Abraham was named vice president of quality.

Corn Products International, Westchester, Ill., announced its intention to change its name to Ingredion to signify its role as a global ingredient solutions company. The name change is pending shareholder approval at its annual meeting in May and is part of a global strategy that included the acquisition of National Starch in late 2010, the company says.
