This month, Joseph Company International will launch West Coast Chill Pure Energy drinks in self-chilling cans. Using Microcool technology developed, patented and licensed by the company, the can uses carbon dioxide reclaimed from the atmosphere and activated carbon from a renewable vegetable source, the company says. Once a consumer pushes the activation button, it lowers the temperature of the can to 30 degrees Fahrenheit within minutes, it adds. The energy drink does not contain sugar, caffeine, artificial colors or artificial flavors. Suggested retail price for one can is between $3.50 and $3.95.
