Talking Rain Beverage Co., Preston, Wash., will share two major announcements at the 2017 National Association of Convenience Stores Show (NACS), which takes place Oct. 17-20 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

According to an article on Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co.’s Coca-Cola Journey website, the company acquired Topo Chico, a premium sparkling mineral water. Topo Chico joins The Coca-Cola Co.’s Venturing & Emerging Brands (VEB) unit, it states.

Niagara Bottling LLC, Ontario, Calif., acquired the bottled water business formerly owned and operated by First Quality Water & Beverage LLC of Lock Haven, Pa. First Quality produced private label and Pureau brand bottled water.

HTWO Beverage Co. relaunched its HTWO Hydrogen Water, a water enhanced with hydrogen gas. 

New Zealand Pure, a brand of Pure Artesian Water, now is available in select markets.

Preston, Wash.-based Talking Rain Beverage Co., the maker of Sparkling Ice flavored sparkling waters, announced a strategic alliance with Tata Global Beverages, Kolkata, India. The agreement will enhance the brand reach of Himalayan Natural Mineral Water under the Talking Rain Beverage Co. umbrella, leveraging the Sparkling Ice distribution network to launch the mineral water in the United States, the company says.
