After finding success with its Cordina brand of cocktails in pouches, Big Easy Blends decided to create a line of Icee-branded slushies in pouches.

CytoSport, Benicia, Calif., recently expanded distribution of its Muscle Milk Protein ready-to-drink (RTD) protein shakes into select Boots and Sainsbury’s Locals locations in the United Kingdom. Available in 330-ml packages, the protein shakes contain 20 grams of dairy protein to boost athletic performance and promote healthy lifestyles, the company says. The drinks also are gluten-free and low in sugar, it adds.

After receiving multiple requests from consumers for a ready-to-drink, at-home slushy, Big Easy Blends partnered with The Icee Co. to develop Slush Puppie frozen slushies in pouches.

United Brands Co. now offers its Joose Peach, Classic and Strawberry Margaritas in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans.

Hip Brand Development, also known as the WickedCorp, launched Wicked Hard ready-to-drink carbonated cocktails made from distilled grain spirits and real sugar.
