Readers of Beverage Industry Magazine are showing an affinity for organic protein smoothies. In the June New Product of the Month poll, Baltimore-based B’more Organic’s Strawberry Skyr Smoothie took the top spot.
Whether it was alcohol or non-alcohol, the readers had a number of great products from which to choose in the Readers’ Choice New Product of Month poll for May.
As the summer approaches, it looks as though people are getting ready to relax in the sun with a cold cocktail. In Beverage Industry’s April New Products poll, readers voted Daily’s Cocktails as, by far, the top new product release on www.bevindustry.com throughout the month.

Campbell’s V8 Vegetable and Fruit Juices claims 59 percent of votes

In line with consumers’ interest with health and wellness products as well as vegetable flavors, Camden, N.J.-based Campbell Soup Co. introduced in January its new line of V8 Vegetable and Fruit Juice beverages. This month, Beverage Industry readers have shown that they agree that this new product release was on point by voting the product line Beverage Industry’s Readers’ Choice New Product of the Month for March.
Although it might not look it outside, if you are in the Midwest or Northeast, summer isn’t too far away. In anticipation of summer activities and the food and beverages that accompany many of them, beverage-makers have started rolling out new products to complement the season. And it looks as though the readers of Beverage Industry are excited for some new summer flavors.
At the risk of placing a jinx on this warmer weather in the Midwest, it looks as though spring might be around the corner. With temperatures in the high 30s and low 40s, the snow and ice that Mother Nature shared with us in February might soon be a thing of the past.
In Beverage Industry’s 2015 New Product Development Outlook study, 18 percent of respondents named cinnamon as a top-selling flavor for2015. Although we are early into the new year, it seems as those the readers of the magazine are carrying that assessment in their voting records.
The readers of Beverage Industry see a future for liquid concentrates in the alcohol market. In the magazine’s Readers’ Choice New Product of the Year poll for 2014, Seismix LLC’s ZMix instant cocktail mixes captured the title of Favorite New Product of 2014 by garnering 40 percent of votes.
