Topo Chico trademark will move into spirit-based, ready-to-drink canned cocktails in 2023

Molson Coors, Chicago, announced the expansion of its exclusive agreement with Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. to develop and commercialize Topo Chico Spirited, a line of spirit-based, ready-to-drink cocktails inspired by some of America’s most beloved tequila and vodka-based beverages. The deal marks another milestone in the relationship between Molson Coors and The Coca-Cola Co.
Constellation Brands announced the release of FRESCA Mixed: a new line of premium pre-mixed ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktails crafted with the bright and citrusy classic taste of FRESCA and real vodka or tequila, it says.

Monaco Cocktails, a brand of Chicago-based Atomic Brands, announced its entrance into the hard lemonade category with Monaco Hard Lemonades. Featuring Original and Peach flavors, this new line disrupts the market and existing products in the space by offering two shots of vodka in every can, with a 9% ABV, it says.
Ready-to-drink is expected to boom in North America in the coming years, with a projected $43.6 billion for the global RTD beverage market by 2027, according to a Data Bridge Market Research study.
