I have been a fan of Pandora for years now. I have a station for driving, driving with my parents in the car, working and running. Because I use the free service, I am accustomed to the targeted advertisements. Dunkin' Donuts, Canton, Mass., announced that it is the first national coffee chain to enable gifting and payment within Messages in iOS 10. Dunkin' Donuts fans now can access the Dunkin' Mobile App through the App Store for iMessage to deliver mobile Dunkin' Donuts gift cards to friends, family and colleagues as quickly and simply as sending an emoji, it says.
More and more companies are embracing corporate social responsibility (CSR) and recognizing the ways in which it resonates with various consumer demographics. CSR initiatives can vary, and many beverage companies have engaged in one program or another. These can include monetary donations based on sales, partnerships and the donation of products or services during times of need.

This fall, Strongbow Hard Apple Cider, a brand of White Plains, N.Y.-based Heineken USA, announced that it will inspire legal-drinking-aged consumers to add more flavor to their harvest season with Strongbow’s range of flavors in a new marketing campaign. The comprehensive program also will include national TV advertisements, social media support, interactive applications, sampling and more, the company says.

A subsidiary of Heineken International BV, White Plains-N.Y.-based Heineken USA’s Heineken Premium Lager is pairing up with UEFA Champions League (UCL) and Major League Soccer (MLS) beginning March 1 for Heineken’s fully integrated, 360-degree retail and on-premise Soccer is Here program. The program encourages legal-drinking-age fans to choose Heineken for all of their soccer viewing activities, the company says. National TV, digital partnerships, social support, account activation and a consumer sweepstakes rewarding shoppers for every minute of every UCL and MLS match, will drive consumer engagement and increase consideration and sales of Heineken throughout the program, it adds.
