Partnership to improve curbside recycling in the US

The Recycling Partnership, Falls Church, Va., a national nonprofit committed to improving curbside residential recycling, announced that White Plains, N.Y.-based Heineken USA is the first alcohol company member, effective immediately, to join its program. As a leading sponsor, the brewer will provide industry expertise to help improve consumer education, elevate the quality of curbside recycling and drive increased recovery of recyclable glass in communities nationwide, the companies say.
Perrier, evian partner with designers for inspiration

Perrier Sparkling Natural Mineral Water released its newest line of limited-edition packaging designs for the second installment of the brand’s “Inspired by Street Art” collection.
Three cities in Maryland recently named October “Shore Craft Beer and Hard Cider Month.” One of them in Ocean City, also hosted a Shore Craft Beer Festival, which took place Oct. 24 and featured local brewers, according to the Caroline Times Record.

Celestial Seasonings, a brand of The Hain Celestial Group Inc., unveiled its new brand look and feel, including redesigned packaging highlighting the brand’s heritage with a new, contemporary logo.
Galena Brewing Co. expanded its packaging lineup to include three beers in Rexam 16-ounce cans — Anna Belle’s IPA, a ruby beer with a burst of hop flavors and aromas paired with a malt backbone; Farmer’s Blonde Ale, a light ale; and Fevre River Ale Hefeweizen, a classic Bavarian style wheat beer with a medium to heavy mouth feel, the company says.
Novelis and Southbound Brewing Co. announced that the craft brewery now offers its beer in aluminum cans made from Novelis’ evercan, the certified high-recycled content aluminum can sheet.

Cab.Corp. announced new packaging and a new name for its La Playa Block Selection Reserves. The new name, Tinga, will assist in better segmenting its three tiers: La Playa Estate Series, Tinga Block Selection Reserve and Axel wines, the company says.
