Coors Light announced it will eliminate plastic rings from packaging globally, where Molson Coors owns brewing operations. To support the move to more sustainable packaging, Molson Coors Beverage Co., Chicago, will invest $85 million, enabling Coors Light to begin the transition to fully recyclable and sustainably sourced cardboard-wrap carriers later this year.

St-Rémy changed its plastic 50-cl St-Rémy XO and VSOP bottles and its 1.75-liter St-Rémy VSOP plastic bottle from PET to recycled PET plastic. Chobani, New Berlin, N.Y., announced two new dairy platforms, expanding its footprint in the refrigerated aisle: Chobani Ultra-Filtered Milk, a lactose-free, protein-packed ultra-filtered milk, and Chobani Half & Half. These new items are made from locally sourced milk and like many of the company’s newest products, they come in paper-based packaging that is widely recyclable across the United States.
