Tchibo coffee made its U.S. debut. Distributed by Rainmaker Food Solution, Tchibo is grounded in the concept of RÖST FRISCH, meaning that every step from growing and harvesting, to roasting and packaging, is dedicated to creating fresh coffee, the company says.
The coffee category continues to boom, with growth in all segments. The ready-to-drink category saw the highest percentage of growth compared to the prior year, but single-cup coffee pods are one of the categories experiencing the highest sales.

Veteran and firefighter owned coffee company, Fire Department Coffee, Rockford, Ill., unveiled its new extra strength coffee with two times the caffeine. The highly caffeinated dark roast coffee, Stipe Miocic Extra Strength Coffee, contains 333 mg of caffeine — more than double the caffeine of a regular 8-ounce cup, the company says. The new coffee is named after five-time mixed martial arts heavyweight champion and firefighter Stipe Miocic.
In a move designed to encourage its consumers to Reach for the Moon, Copper Moon Coffee, Lafayette, Ind., unveiled all-new packaging centered around the theme of space and coffee.

This Giving Tuesday, Hugh Jackman's Laughing Man Coffee, Boston, is making every cup (and smile) count by encouraging fans to smile to make a difference. For every smiling selfie shared using the Laughing Man Coffee filter on Instagram Stories on Dec. 3, $1 will be donated toward the Laughing Man Foundation, up to $100,000.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Los Angeles, has partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the TV series “Friends.” To commemorate the milestone, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf collaborated with Warner Bros. to create special-edition Central Perk Coffee and Central Perk Tea products, named after the show's legendary coffee shop. The Friends-inspired coffee products now are available for purchase online and will be available in retail stores starting July 31 through the end of summer.
