Harlequin Enterprises Ltd., Ontario, Canada, one of the leading publishers of books for women, announced the launch of Vintages by Harlequin, a new line of three wine varietals, with vintage Harlequin branding, the company says.

Cab.Corp. announced new packaging and a new name for its La Playa Block Selection Reserves. The new name, Tinga, will assist in better segmenting its three tiers: La Playa Estate Series, Tinga Block Selection Reserve and Axel wines, the company says.

Washington winery asks consumers to join winemaking process

Paterson, Wash.-based Columbia Crest is turning to the Internet and consumers for its newest release. The Washington state winery will help the online community of wine lovers to create Crowdsourced Cabernet Sauvignon.
McGah Family Cellars introduced the two newest vintages of its estate wines: the 2011 Scarlett Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2012 1070 Green Sauvignon Blanc.

Originally rooted in Napa Valley, Duckhorn Wine Co. is taking its wine-making expertise to Washington state with the acquisition of a 20-acre vineyard site in the acclaimed Red Mountain American Viticultural Area (AVA).
