Tequila Don Ramón announced the launch of a special edition tequila collection signed by iconic musical artist and owner of the brand, Luis Miguel.

A tribute to excellence and the cultural richness of Mexico, this special collection captures the spirit of Mexican heritage and is an homage to the art of tequila making, the company says.

The collection features three tequila varieties — Silver, Reposado, and Añejo — that have already earned international acclaim at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, widely considered the most prestigious judging of wines and spirits globally, the company notes. The Añejo Tequila secured a silver medal after a meticulous blind tasting, recognized for its sophisticated flavor profile of smooth, sweet, woody and agave notes developed during a 12-month aging process in American white oak barrels, it says. The Silver Tequila was awarded a gold medal for its distinctive sweet notes of cooked agave and subtle herbal undertones, meanwhile the Reposado Tequila distinguished itself by receiving the highest honor — a unanimous double gold medal — for its exceptional six-month aging in American white oak barrels, which imparts rich, complex flavors of vanilla, toasted nuts, and refined woodiness, it adds.

The collection’s bottle design incorporates a vibrant, hand-painted ceramic aesthetic deeply rooted in Mexican artisan traditions, according to the company. Drawing inspiration from Mexico's rich cultural landscape, each color in the design was carefully selected to represent the tequila-making process, it says. The blue bottle of Silver Tequila symbolizes the UNESCO World Heritage agave landscape’s skies, while the yellow Reposado Tequila bottle represents the spirit’s color developed during barrel aging. The red Añejo Tequila bottle pays tribute to the fertile lands of Jalisco.

With this collection, Tequila Don Ramón reaffirms its leadership position in the ultra-luxury segment, elevating the art of tequila to new heights, it says.
