In time for the holidays, Blue Run Spirits released a new limited release expression: Ember.
Ember sits at 128.8 proof (64.4% ABV) with bold flavors, including orange and floral notes, taking consumers on a sensory experience of dry cinnamon, honey and wood spice, the company says. This small batch, high proof bourbon was crafted to be enjoyed in the winter season, sure to elevate the holidays to new heights, it adds.
“Ember is the perfect flavor profile to complement the cooler temperatures of winter,” said Shaylyn Gammon, head of whiskey development and innovation for Blue Run Spirits, in a statement. “When crafting this batch, I was inspired by the contrast of hot and cold, and purposefully selected three unique barrels of high proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon to achieve a nuanced, 128.8 proof blend that amplifies the char and wood spice notes without the heat.”
Ember is available to purchase for a suggested retail price of $129.99 a bottle, both online and in select retailers across the following states: Illinois, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Virginia.
