KROHNE Inc. highlighted their OPTIMASS 1400 Coriolis mass flowmeter. The mass flow sensor is the first choice for food and beverage applications due to its prime price-performance ratio, the company says. The technology reliably measures mass and volume flow, density and concentration. The OPTIMASS 1400 is highly versatile, providing ideal solutions for the food and beverage industry. It comes with Entrained Gas Management (EGM) for applications with aerated products, such as raw milk, yogurt or ice cream. The product is drainable and easy to clean, with a small footprint, the company notes. Featuring twin measuring tubes, the OPTIMASS 1400 leverages the Coriolis effect to provide highly accurate readings across a range of flow conditions and fluid types, it says. Along with being easy to clean and drain, the product is resistant to installation and process effects, achieving a long working life. Its optimized flow divider minimizes pressure loss, guaranteeing a low pressure drop across the meter, the company says. Additionally, the OPTIMASS features modular electronics and data redundancy to enable seamless “plug and play” replacement. It is constructed with stainless steel, making it highly robust.
