To kick off the fall season, Samuel Adams released its Beer Fest Variety Pack, containing OctoberFest, Jack-O, Flannel Fest and its flagship Boston Lager.
Available now, the 12-pack of 12-ounce bottles contains three bottles of each variety.
Recalling memories of freshly baked pumpkin pie, Jack-O is the balance of seasonal spices with a crisp and refreshing finish, the company says. This pumpkin ale is packed with cinnamon and nutmeg aromas paired with subtle notes of fresh citrus, it adds.
A take on a century’s old classic, Octoberfest is a hearty Märzen with a toasty malt sweetness and a light hop character, it says. OctoberFest is smooth with a deep malt complexity, roasty sweetness and light hop character, it adds.
Flannel Fest is a Munich Dunkel lager with notes of toasted bread and caramel, while the flagship Boston Lager is a smooth, German-style lager with slightly sweet roasted malts, notes of caramel, toffee, and a distinct noble hop character with subtle piney citrus, the company says.
