Mezcal Amarás announced the launch of Americana, a bold and innovative addition to the brand’s mezcal portfolio.

Crafted from the 100% Americana agave, Americana is produced in the Tlacolula, Oaxaca region using a Conical Stone Oven, Egyptian mill and copper stills with wooden cap, the company notes. Mezcal Amarás’ uses a 100% natural fermentation process, in open air vats utilizing indigenous wild yeasts from the surrounding. No sulfites are used, it says.

Americana boasts a bittersweet smell with hints of roasted banana on the mouth and a silky, almond finish — making it a stellar sipping mezcal or an ideal spirit for cocktails, from a Mezcalita to a Paloma and more, the company says.

The 40% ABV Americana is available for purchase on ReserveBar, as well as at select stores across the country for a suggested retail price of $54.99 a bottle.
