Jones Soda Co. announced the release of its first crossover special edition flavor with both the Jones Soda and Mary Jones brands.
The new Hatch Chile & Lime soda will be available from both brands this year, marking the first dual special flavor release between Jones and Mary Jones — an industry first in both categories, the company says.
"Jones was the first mainstream non-alcohol consumer brand to crossover into the cannabis market with Mary Jones in 2022," said Bohb Blair, president of emerging brands at Jones Soda, in a statement. "We're blazing the trail again with jointly releasing a special edition flavor across both markets with our new Hatch Chile & Lime sodas."
The Mary Jones portfolio, initially launched in California, with multiple formats offered in four of the most popular Jones Soda flavors has seen enormous success, the company says. Mary Jones has since announced plans for expansion into cannabis-legal Michigan, Washington and Nevada with additional markets to be announced in the future, it notes.
"We have cannabis consumers and dispensaries in legal states from across the country contacting Mary Jones about our products," said David Knight, CEO of Jones Soda, in a statement. "Our new Hatch Chile & Lime is just the start of the incredible flavors we'll be bringing to the THC community."
The Hatch Chile & Lime special release soda combines the bold flavors of smoky hatch chiles with a refreshing zing of lime. The cannabis infused Mary Jones products come in both 10 mg single-serving and 100 mg multi-serving formats, available now and all summer long throughout California dispensaries.
