“While this is the first time La Colombe is creating dairy and oatmilk multi-serves, we have been perfecting our cold brew blends and flavors in our cafes for decades,” said Kathryn O’Connor, chief marketing officer of La Colombe, in a statement. “As shoppers continue to evolve the way they enjoy cold brew at home, we’re excited to bring our coffee forward, cafe-quality cold brew blends to more people across the country.”
The multi-serve ready-to-drink coffee is now a $1 billion segment and is contributing nearly all of the growth within the ready-to-drink coffee category, the company notes.
“We have long been a leader in the ready-to-drink cold brew space. In 2019, we launched our beloved Brazilian single-origin cold brew in a Multi-Serve bottle and it was wildly successful. It was a natural fit to build on this booming category and introduce some of our favorite milk and oatmilk flavored beverages to our lineup,” added O’Connor.
La Colombe has been committed to pursuing excellent coffee for all since their inception in 1994. Through ethical trade with growers, advocating for equity, and empowering their communities, La Colombe continues to ignite the masses and demand better, raising the standards for outstanding quality coffee.
La Colombe’s four new Multi-Serve Cold Brew products will be available in select retailers Fall/Winter 2023/2024. They join the three existing core Multi-Serve Cold Brews: Brazilian Medium Roast, Colombian Medium Roast, and Extra Bold Brazilian Dark Roast, which are currently available nationally at retailers like Whole Foods, Kroger and Target.
